Description

A drawing of a Fox face done with coloured pencils on brown Ingres paper. I love the  focused look on his face. I had fun doing the depth of field on this one, the front ear is sharp and the back ear is sorter and out of focus.

This picture is 406mm X 305mm or 16 X 12 inches.

I look at this and I see something warm, cute, wild, nearly perfect. Foxes are known because of their extremely joyful nature, but, with this work, the artist tell us they are intelligent, powerful and confident, too. I look at this and I see some great control of bright, shadows, proportions and perspective. I can tell this is an amazing piece of art; It transmits respect, it has a great impact at first sight. Everything has a delicate touch: Background is not just blank, and its brownish tones match perfectly with those oranges and whites of the fox; each part has a powerful texture, you can nearly touch the hair and feel it; even the eyes, that show a huge deepness, are done with such a great effort that makes the whole picture an original and masterful joy to the senses. In other words, i love this work and every single part of it.
